My family had 2 French foreign exchange students with us along with our 2 teenage boys. We wanted to see Yosemite but to accommadate all 6 of us would require 2-3 motel rooms. We found this to be an affordable alternative. We were 1 hr from the valley floor and enjoyed the lake at the property. the cabin is....rustic, comes to mind. It had everything we needed but was in need of little repairs.(not a bad thing) The realtor was quite responsive to our needs as there were a couple issues that needed tending to and they were were taken care immediately. <br/>I would gladly return to stay with them again. Maybe next time closer to the lake, although we were only 2 blocks away to begin with.

The location of the property is perfect - 2 min walk downhill to the main beach.<br/>Everything in the house was in good condition except cooking utensils - they were plain dirty (greasy, with dried-up food remnants on them)

Conveniently located to the main beach area and quiet. Older cabin, looks and feels like it was always meant for just weekend getaways, so expect functional not elegance. Good place to use as a place to sleep and eat. Not so great for children under 2. Some details for those who would be interested in this type of info: 1 small TV in living room, no DVD player, no other TV's. 1 rather old ping pong table in basement. Deck not safe for toddlers. No dishwasher.
